We've just completed a beautiful plant installation for Astrid & Miyu, a contemporary London-based jewellery brand that opened its doors on the Lower Ground Level of Victoria Square in Belfast in August.
Their chic, modern aesthetic called for a plant scheme that was equally stylish and sophisticated.
We worked closely with their team to understand their vision and brand identity, and I'm proud to say we've delivered a green space that perfectly complements their new store.
For this project, we focused on architectural plants and species with soft, pale green hues. We selected olive trees for their timeless appeal and silvery-green leaves, which add a touch of Mediterranean elegance to the space. To create some texture and movement, we incorporated Phlebodium aureum ferns with their delicate, wavy fronds in a soothing pale green.
One of my favourite elements is the cascading Pothos we've added to trail over shelves. These lush, trailing plants bring a sense of abundance and life to the displays. To tie everything together, we've potted all the plants in beautiful natural stone containers that match the brand's décor seamlessly.
Projects like this are why I love what we do at The Green East. There's something magical about bringing nature indoors and seeing how it transforms a space. It's not just about aesthetics, although that's important. For me, it's about creating an environment that feels alive and welcoming. Brining nature into a space can not only help with the overall look and feel, but help improve wellbeing, creativity and calm.
This installation also showcases our approach to commercial projects, especially in the hospitality sector. We don't just drop off some plants and call it a day. We work closely with each client to find the right planting scheme for their interior design and brand identity. We consider factors like light levels, temperature, and the overall flow of the space to ensure that every plant not only looks great but thrives in its new home. We also offer plant maintenance services, checking in on your plants regularly to ensure that they're happy.
