Plant styling for HALT, Belfast

Happy to style this new space in Belfast Halt Weavers Cross

Our challenge was to inject life, greenery and softness to the space, all while ensuring the plants could withstand the Northern Irish weather. We designed a layered, textured planting scheme that blends the formal beauty of the Mediterranean with the lush resilience of classic hardy evergreens.

For the main courtyard and entrance areas, we chose plants that offer structure, sophistication, and a year-round impact:

The selection included elegant, formally shaped bay trees and silvery-leaved olive trees for a Mediterranean structure, complemented by dense, colourful rhododendrons and other hardy evergreens. Texture is added through the large, glossy leaves of Fatsia Japonica, vertical screening provided by resilient bamboo, and softening trails of dependable ivy.

We're incredibly proud of the work we've achieved at Halt, creating a green space that invites people to linger, relax, and connect with nature right in the city centre.
