The Courthouse Shared Space Creative Hub at Bushmills

Back in November, we worked on a fantastic fit out for the The Courthouse Shared Space Creative Hub in Bushmills, Northern Ireland.

The Courthouse has been transformed by Enterprise Causeway into a start of the art space featuring 15 workshops spaces, a shop, café, retail space, meeting space and garden area.

It's all been designed to support cross-community engagement.

The Green East were tasked with creating planters for the entrance space and to fit out the interior community spaces, retail area and the bistro with plants.

Outside we filled these beautiful Corten steel planters with grasses, ferns and ivy. The red grass looks stunning against the orange steel.
Inside, we went for a variety of plants that were architectural and low maintenance like the Snake Plant and Ponytail Plant.

We also added some lush planting with palms and bird of paradise plants to help add visual focal points to the different spaces and add to the overall styling.
In the Bistro at the Courthouse, we worked with Velvet Interiors to add lush planting to some beautiful pots and containers.

We absolutely loved working on this project, but we'll be back regularly to check up on the plants and keep them all happy and healthy.
