• Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid strong, direct sun to prevent scorching. A north or west-facing window is ideal.
• Watering: Water when the topsoil feels dry, allowing it to dry out more in winter; never let it sit in water. Use tepid water. Water from bellow or around the edges, not on the stems.
• Humidity: Loves humidity; mist regularly or use a humidifier, especially in dry rooms.
• Soil: Use a porous, well-draining mix, like for orchids, with bark/perlite, but one that retains some moisture.
• Temperature: Warm conditions; protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C.
• Fertiliser: Feed monthly during spring/summer with a balanced cactus fertiliser.
• Potting: Needs a sturdy pot with drainage holes as it can get heavy and trailing.
