Rabbit's Foot Fern Care Guide
- Light: Bright, indirect light; avoid harsh, direct sun.
- Water: Keep soil moist, allowing the top inch to dry between waterings; use filtered or rainwater if possible.
- Humidity: High humidity is key; mist frequently, use a humidifier, or place on a pebble tray with water.
- Soil: Well-draining, loamy mix; a mix with peat/bark/sand works well.
- Repotting: In shallow pots or hanging baskets; keep the furry rhizomes (not the roots) on top of the soil and do not bury them.
- Fertiliser: Feed with a diluted liquid or organic fern fertiliser every few weeks during the growing season.
- Pruning: Trim dead or damaged fronds and roots as needed.
- Pests/Problems: Tolerant, but watch for common houseplant pests; yellowing/browning indicates dryness or overwatering
- Non-Toxic: Safe for homes with cats and dogs.
