Parlour Palm

Parlour Palm (Chamaedorea elegans) was a favourite of the Victorians and it's one of ours too!

This is a houseplant with beautiful leafy green foliage and soft fronds and will look great in your parlour...or living room.

This indoor houseplant is native to rainforests in Southern Mexico and Northern Guatemala. It's also a lovely compact plant that will reach a maximum height of 1m (3ft).

Plant care tips for your Parlour Palm

• Keep your Parlour Palm in a bright but indirect light.
• Keep your indoor palm away from radiators as this tropical beauty needs humidity.
• Your Parlour Palm will prefer a moist compost, but not waterlogged. Water well, but allow to fully drain. 
• To keep your palm in the best condition, mist the leaves regularly to create humidity, mimicking its natural environment.
  
• Reduce watering in the winter, allowing it to dry out slightly in between.
• Feed it during the growing season to keep it looking lush.
