Epipremnum - Global Green Pothos

If you’re looking for a lush trailing plant with easy-going charm, the Global Green Pothos is a brilliant choice. Origin: The Global Green Pothos is a cultivated variety of Epipremnum aureum, a tropical vining plant native to the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. This modern pothos variety is loved for its distinctive green-on-green variegation and hardy, adaptable nature.

Care Guide

Light: Global Green Pothos does best in bright, indirect light, which helps keep its variegation looking strong and fresh. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but growth may slow and the leaf pattern may become less defined. Avoid direct midday sun, as this can scorch the leaves.

Watering: Allow the top couple of inches of soil to dry out before watering. It prefers a good drink followed by time to dry slightly, rather than sitting in soggy compost. In winter, reduce watering as growth naturally slows.

Temperature & Humidity: It enjoys normal household warmth and will be happiest away from cold draughts, open windows, or hot radiators. As a tropical plant, it appreciates moderate humidity, but it is generally very forgiving in average home conditions.

Feeding: Feed once a month during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertiliser. There’s no need to feed during winter while the plant is resting.

Toxicity: Important! Like other pothos varieties, Global Green Pothos is toxic to cats, dogs, and humans if ingested. It contains calcium oxalate crystals, which can cause irritation to the mouth and digestive tract, so keep it away from curious pets and children.

It’s a wonderfully resilient plant—perfect if you want something leafy, trailing, and tropical-looking without too much maintenance.
